August 29

What a weekend! We survived the annual Corn and Apple Festival. It was a little crazy. Lots of family came out for parts of the weekend, and I also worked. Corbin had a blast playing violin on the street corner and so many people gave him money. So nice and affirming for him. Bryn had a great time on the rides with cousins and friends. By the end of it all, however, I was DONE!!!!! I needed some "me" time! So, today, I sat down and made some cards. I really liked Leigh's idea of a set of cards for someone, so I made these for my mom for her birthday. I used the Turning a New Leaf stamp set for all of them, the Woodgrain stamp set, Mat Stack 5, Half and Half dies, and some sentiments, all from PTI. I hope she likes it!

Thanks for looking!

  1. Your cards are lovely. I love your choice of pattern papers. The colors are so now. I like how you kept most of the elements the same. Your mom will love them.

  2. Oh, these turned out fabulous, Marlo! I love them all! Great job!
