Make it Monday #4

Well, I couldn't sleep because I had this idea for a card swimming around in my head, so here I am making cards at midnight. Anyway, I wanted to try a very monochromatic card for the Make it Monday reverse mask. My problem is that I made it without the black border. That was just there because it didn't take a good picture on a white background. However, I like it with the border too. Which do you prefer?

Make it Monday - third attempt

Well, I have never done any masking of any type, so this has been a first for me! I have enjoyed trying this new technique, however, I don't have many stamps that work! So, I have been using some of my die cuts. This card I made with my PTI star die cuts, my new Daydreamer and Mendhi stamp set (thanks Leigh for letting me take yours until mine come in!) and my Fancy Flourishes stamp set.

My friend Leigh has been joining on the Papertrey Ink Make it Monday for awhile now, and I finally decided to join in. I used PTI Wildflower garden and Beautiful Blessings stamp sets. I masked off for my border and the leaves.
